SECTION #1: SAFETY & CONDUCT

Rule 1 .   The safety of all people involved will be the No. 1 Priority of the league. At no time will any behavior that threatens the safety of anyone connected to this league be tolerated.

Rule 2 .   All league participants are expected to use good judgement and exhibit good sportsmanship.

Rule 3 .   Any person bringing a weapon or found stealing or damaging property will be expelled from the League and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Rule 4 .   Any person striking a league official will be expelled from the league and prosecuted by law.

Rule 5 .   Any person that threatens a league official will be suspended for one game. A second offense of this kind and the player will be expelled from the league.

Rule 6 .   Any person involved in a fight will be ejected from the game and suspended two games and will be expelled from the League if league officials decide his actions warrant it.

Rule 7 .   Any player leaving his bench to take part in a fight will be suspended for a minimum of one game.

Rule 8 .   Any person who exhibits unsportsmanlike behavior such as taunting, cursing, baiting or trying to incite any sort of violent behavior will be accessed a technical    foul and possible ejection from the game.

Rule 9 .   Any player that disrespectfully addresses an official or acts in an unsportsmanlike manner will be accessed a technical foul, if necessary a flagrant foul will be called   and the player will be ejected if it is warranted.

Rule 10 . Only team players and two coaches will be allowed to sit on the team bench. Each team is responsible for all people in their bench area.   Any unsportsmanlike    comment from a team's bench area will result in a technical foul being called on    that team's bench.

Rule 11 . Only the coach or team captain is allowed to address the game officials about the rules of the game (NOT to question the official's judgement).

Rule 12 . Exessive rough play such as shoving, pushing, throwing elbows, lowbridging (moving under a player already in the air), commiting a hard foul or any other actions that greatly increase the likelyhood of someone getting hurt or injured will not be tolerated.  These actions can and will result in a flagrant foul, ejection from the game and even possible suspension or expulsion from the league if league officials feel it is warranted.

Rule 13 . The league will review all situations where a player exhibits unsportsmanlike behavior. A player can and will be suspended or expelled from the league due to his actions before, during or after a League Game.

Rule 14 . A suspended player can not enter the gym until his suspension is over.  Failure to comply with this rule will result in that player's team forfeiting the game.

Rule 15 . Teams are responsible for any fans or spectators that come to support them.  Unruly fans will be banned from attending games in the future.  Poor and unruly fan behavior will result in technical fouls being accessed against the team they are supporting.

Rule 16 . There will be NO REFUND of any kind paid to a player or a team that has been expelled from the league due to an infraction of the League Rules. (See Rules #3, 4, 5, 6, 12, 13, 45)

* Having everyone play in an atmosphere of GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP and Friendly Competition where everyone is SAFE and hospitable is the goal of this league.  If you are looking to get together with your teammates and compete with your opponent in a friendly game of basketball then you will probably enjoy this league.
