SECTION #10: PROTESTS

Rule 66 . Protests can only be filed on the grounds that the rules were NOT properly administrated.  All protest must be properly submitted within two days of the game in question in order to be ruled on by the League Management.

Rule 67. For a team to properly "PROTEST" a game they must do ALL of the following.

  • The protest must be noted in the score book, AT THE TIME of the infraction or the POINT OF PROTEST.

  • The time remaining in the game, the score and the type of infraction must be noted in the score book.

  • The team captains, time, scorer and both referees must initial the book at this point so the protest can be properly investigated and ruled on by the league.  The scorer must note if anyone refuses to initial the book

  • A detailed WRITTEN PROTEST  with a PROTEST FEE of $30.00 must be filed with the league director (Glenn or Bob) within 48 hours of the incident by a team representative that is filing the protest.

Rule 68. The League Management will then investigate the matter with all parties involved and come to a ruling.  If the protest is upheld the $30.00 protest fee will be returned to the team and the game will be replayed from the "POINT OF PROTEST".  If the protest is denied the $30.00 PROTEST FEE will be forfeited and the game will stand as it ended.
