SECTION #5: GAME TIME RULESRule 38 . Each team MUST report at SCHEDULED TIME, and be READY TO PLAY at GAME TIME. The SCHEDULED TIME . Rule 39 . The GAME CLOCK will start immediately at GAME TIME, and The Point-a-Minute Rule will go into effect at GAME TIME. Rule 40 . Teams must be READY TO PLAY at GAME TIME for all scheduled games. A team will be considered READY TO PLAY when: (1) All players must be signed in with a minimum of 3 READY TO PLAY. (2) Each player's name and number must be in the score book before game tip-off. (3) Each team must have at least 3 players suited up, in the book and on the court at GAME TIME. (4) The REF'S FEE must be given to the game officials before the start of the game. Rule 41 . At GAME TIME when both teams are ready to play the game will start immediately. The game and the GAME CLOCK will start at GAME TIME. Rule 42 . The game will consist of two 24 minute halves of running-time. During running-time the clock will stop only for TIME-OUTS. The clock will stop for ALL whistles in the last one minutes of the second half and after made baskets during the last 30 seconds if the lead is ten points or less. The clock also stops for the administration of technical foul free throws during the last 8 minutes of the game and/or overtime. Rule 43 . Half Time will be 5 minute, a technical foul will be assessed for any delay. Rule 44 . Overtime will be 3 minutes with the clock stopping on all whistles in the last minute. Rule 45 . The game clock will NOT stop if a team is leading by 22 or more points. If under a 22-pt spread normal clock management resumes. Rule 46 . Each team has 3 full time-outs and 2 thirty second timeout during
regulation time. Each team will receive 1 additional full time-out for
each overtime.
